To have what we call a "pure heart" isn't an easy thing to achieve. There are times when you need to stand against temptations that will prove the kind of heart you have.  Others can masquerade as if they have a pure heart when people are looking at them. However, in the middle of wilderness, when no one sees them, their heart can be as wild as the animals in that wilderness.
